The Longest Journey Yet!
Bill was gone almost 5 months and 19,215 miles on a motorcycle trip, traveling from Prince of Wales Island in Alaska to Tierra Del Fuego in South America! Sarah and the children stayed at home in Craig, although they did join Bill in Costa Rica for Christmas. Bill kept an excellent journal ("Blog") at www.anchorbc.net/billsride.aspx, with lots of pictures; you'll find the family pictures in his January 08 blog.

Sarah Altland received the prestigious Bowl of Hygeia Award on March 1, 2003, at the meeting of the Alaska Pharmaceutical Association's Annual Convention. The award was given for service to the community in addition to her work at Whale Tail. Click here for the description of the award. |
